I guided the development of brand guidelines for a new café at Kona Kai Resort in San Diego. The hotel management requested a casual, nautical brand that would attract guests and foot traffic to the outlet. With the mouth of San Diego Bay as the locale of the café, the brand playful leans into the seafaring theme. An upcoming interior renovation provided the inspiration for the color palette and brand patterns.
